Horror Movie Countdown Day 5, 6, 7, 8... Oh God.
Okay. So I dropped the ball on the reviews. But it’s okay, I’m picking it up again. Getting “back on the horse” if you will. I’ll just do one big review for my favourite horror of all time. I’ll post my Halloween pictures tonight!
The Last House On The Left (1972)
The Last House On The Left may be my favourite horror film of all time. It fits into the...

Horror Movie Countdown - Day 4 Drag Me To Hell
I’m stupid-tired and I’ve got to hit the hay, but I watched a movie that I really love today and It must be reviewed.
Drag Me To Hell. This film is much newer than most of the ones I end up watching (2009), but the idea of Sam Raimi doing another horror flick peeked my interest. I saw this film in theatres, and was pleasantly surprised to find Alison Lohman as the lead roll....

Nicolas Cage makes me witlessly rage
And so I have only seen The Wicker Man from 1973. I won’t lie, the part when they walk up the hill and you see the actual wicker man, scared the shit out of me. That kind of thing just creeps me right out! Fucking great film though.

Horror Movie Countdown - Day 3 Class of 1984
This is a movie that I actually watched a few nights ago, but I’m in a considerably bad mood tonight and I just want to go play Gameboy in bed, so this is what you’re getting.
Class of 1984 was released in 1982, and I don’t recognize the director at all, but Michael J Fox, and Roddy McDowall are in the film. Michael J Fox plays a wuss who gets shanked. It shows him years later,...

Horror Movie Countdown - Day 2 (Late) SUSPIRIA
Okay, so I was really busy last night and never got a chance to write out my review, so here I go. /welp
Suspiria 1977, so very well known amongst horror-nuts. Why? I’ll tell you. (OH, and I never said I would only be watching/reviewing movies I’ve never seen, some movies I just watch over and over, and they deserve a mention as well!) Right off the bat we know that the Director,...

Horror Movie Countdown - Day 1 Silent Night,...
Okay, so there’s about a week until my favourite holiday of all time, Halloween! And I can’t think of a better way to countdown the days, than to watch a horror film every day until the day. Most of my friends know I’m a bit of a horror nut, but in my last year of high school I was greatly distracted from the genre, and it’s about time I catch up! My friends also know...

Ophelia
Though I’ve never actually read Hamlet, I constantly stumble upon paintings of her. I spend hours pouring over art on the internet, and Ophelia occurs consistently in the subject matter. I’d just like to share some of my favourites.
High school may have scared me away from Shakespeare, but these paintings make me much more comfortable with the idea of reading his plays.

I miss Iceland
When I left, I was so ready to come home. But now that it’s been a few months, I miss the long days, and obnoxiously bright nights. I miss the 10/11 convenience stores and the bizarre currency which I was just getting used to. I miss the blue lagoon, and the European cigarettes. The lifted vans, and really cold people.
One day I will return with a rental car, and I’ll explore the rest...

I just tried to torrent the hilarious horror film Jack Frost from 1997, and ended up downloading a doom metal album from 1996.
This is also how I discovered Black Pyramid.

I am curious to see what happens in the next world to one who dies unshriven. Giving his reasons for refusing to see a priest as he lay dying. ~~ Pietro Perugino, d. 1523
